GRAVES BLOODLINE... Saturday, February 23, 2019

Graves Bloodline runs deep in the hearts of Nashville's bluegrass family. Hall of Fame member "Uncle Josh" Graves is credited with introducing the resonator guitar (Dobro) into bluegrass music after joining the Flatt & Scruggs Foggy Mountain Boys in 1955 and was a major influence on the founding members of GRAVES BLOODLINE.

The band features son Bryan Graves on bass  and lead vocals and nephew Tim Graves - bluegrass Dobro Player of the Year (10 years in a row).

With Rob Evans on guitar, Tommy Tipton on drums, fiddler Kimberly Bibb, David Mansfield III on piano, and Kelsey Crews on banjo and mandolin, Graves Bloodline brings together a unique blend of bluegrass, country and Americana. Come out to the Depot and enjoy an evening of high-energy Nashville NewGrass.

Performer and details to be announced.
John Howie at the Depot... Saturday, September 28, 2019

John Howie and the Rosewood Bluff... center stage at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot. John formed the Two Dollar Pistols in '95 and churned out five full length CDs and an EP duet with Tift Merritt... and did a South by Southeast Music Feast before the Pistols broke up in 2008. He soon started up Rosewood Bluff and, with drummer Dave Hartman, bassist Billie Feather, guitarist Tim Shearer and pedal steel virtuoso Nathan Golub, produced their first album, Everything Except Goodbye.

Howie, Jr.'s future was set after seeing one of the Backsliders' first shows in Raleigh back in '92. An alt-country band, they were into Gram Parsons, the Burrito Brothers, Buck Owens... much like John was. Rosewood Bluff has shared the stage with legends such as George Jones and nouveaux stars Shovels and Rope.

Listen to "So Doggone Lonesome".
Listen to "Man I Used to Be" performed at the Pour House Music Hall.

Advance tickets are $25; $30 day of show.
