Admission to most South by Southeast Music Feasts is $25 per person but may be higher for some special performances or events. Annual concert series members receive special pricing with admissions discounted $5 or more from the public price. There is often a specially priced admission for those under 21 as well. Prices will be posted online for each event and in our SxSE Newsletters. A potluck dinner is provided with offerings such as BBQ and hot dogs, beverages from New South Brewery, soft drinks and coffee. In true southern tradition, many members bring a variety of casseroles, desserts and covered dishes to contribute to the fare. "You've gotta hear this," is a refrain we've all heard many times over the years as our founders introduced us to new musicians, songwriters and bands - many who have become quite successful. The types of musical performances scheduled are also varied and have included Americana, bluegrass, traditional, gospel, blues, jazz, and rock & roll. Unless stated otherwise, South by Southeast Music Feasts are held at the historic Myrtle Beach Train Depot located at 851 Broadway. Due to venue size, attendance is usually limited to less than 200 and prior reservations are suggested for many events. To order tickets for a SxSE Music Feast, e-mail your name and the number of tickets requested to southxsoutheast@aol.com. You will receive a confirmation by email and your tickets will be held at the door - pay on arrival. Reservations must be redeemed and paid for by 7pm the evening of the event.
